The 2008 competition was the first year Stratford participated (it was the first year the Oracle Academy was offered
at Stratford). For the second year in a row, instructor Livia Toca's classes at National College of Computer Science
TUDOR VIANU in Bucharest, Romania, produced the winning team. Stratford's 2008 team (Ethan Frances, Willis Long, and Michael
Rojas) placed 11th out of 110 entries from around the world and was the 2nd highest finishing US team.
